Working with Maddie is a gift. Maddie is a deep listener and really  skilled at meeting folks where they are.  She made me feel really safe  and lovingly cared for. Maddie has such a calming, grounding presence. I love her enthusiasm and  her genuine desire to be helpful. Before labor, she taught us the  basics we were hoping to understand, and we felt so much more prepared  because of her. Maddie is an angel! She has such a calming presence and made our birth  experience so special. My husband and parents were also present at my  son’s birth, so Maddie even took some pictures of us while I was in  labor which was above and beyond her role as a doula! It’s amazing to  have those memories captured for us. Maddie also met with us a few times  before labor to think through different scenarios - I don’t like the  unknown and also not being in control so her willingness to patiently  talk through things to help me feel more prepared was amazing! I would  absolutely recommend Maddie as a doula, she made our experience becoming  first time parents so memorable!
