Postpartum

Postpartum doula services include support for the birthing person and their family or community following birth. Postpartum services can be added on to birth doula services or stand alone.

Support includes:

• Emotional, physical and educational support for the birthing person and family, including integration of birth experience and after-birth healing
• Nursing or feeding support
• Nourishing meals for birthing person and family
• Care for baby while family naps, rests, meditates, showers, etc.
• Support with routines and other family members
• Referrals to local postpartum and newborn resources as needed
• Light domestic tasks
