Childbirth Education

Monthly Group Class:

I co-teach a monthly childbirth education class focused on people preparing for home birth with Sal Maxwell alternating months between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. In a day-long intensive we cover the basics of birth, comfort measures, partner support, hospital transfer, medical interventions, postpartum recovery, lactation & infant feeding basics, & newborn care practice.

Cost: Each day of class costs $200 per family (birthing person and up to 2 support people). Option for Medicaid coverage.

Private Childbirth Education:

I also offer customized, private in-home childbirth classes for birthing people and their families and community. 

Cost: NM Medicaid Plans or Private Pay hourly rate
